GETTING KIDS TO LISTEN WITHOUT LOSING CONTROL
A 2-hour online workshop.
For parents and guardians.
Wednesday 13th July 2022.
8.00PM-10.00PM.
£20 per participant..
Most parents yell at their kids at one time or another. However, for some parents, yelling becomes an everyday occurrence. Most parents I come across will say ‘but they don’t listen until I yell!’ And that can lead to a downward spiral; yelling leads to bad behavior which leads to more yelling.
The question is, ‘Does it work?’
A problem with yelling is that it doesn’t teach children how to resolve problems peacefully, and you will notice they yell when they want their way. Join this webinar to know how to manage when kids push your buttons and present challenging behavior problems such as defiance and backtalk. Yelling and losing our cool are not appropriate and if yelling is a frequent occurrence in your home, it may be time for you to consider what’s going on and explore some alternative ways to communicate with your child.
